Overview

The Blackarrow is one of the fastest and most agile classes in Mistfall Hunter. Making use of ranged bow attacks, traps, and debuffs, a skilled Blackarrow can punish players for making even the slightest positioning mistakes.

Best Gear & Affixes

For an optimal setup, you should prioritize Seeker, Ranged, Focused, and Curse.

Affix Breakdown:

  • Seeker: Movement Speed +6%, stacking up to 2 times. Vital for keeping distance.
  • Ranged: Physical and Magic Damage increased based on your range from the enemy player.
  • Focused: Charging Speed +15% and Movement Speed +10% while charging.
  • Curse: Debuff Duration +20%. Keeps enemies poisoned and slowed for longer.
  • Elusive: Dodge energy cost reduction.

Tip: Use Victory Wine to push Seeker, Ranged, and Focused to their maximum tiers.

Core Skills & Arrows

The Blackarrow combines basic weapon skills with specialized Arrow loadouts.

Arrows

  • Spore Arrow: Your zone controller. It creates poison clouds to keep attackers at bay.
  • Bloodfly Arrow: Your primary burst DPS tool. Fires a swarm that applies damage over time, which can be detonated by a charged shot.
  • Barbed Arrow: Prevents enemies from dodging freely. If they dodge while impaled, they take extra damage and can be stunned.

Weapon Skills

  • Impact Grenade: Fantastic for crowd control and knocking players back into your Spore Arrow clouds.
  • Scattershot: Your ultimate "get away from me" skill. Blasts enemies back when they get too close.
  • Rapid Arrows: Fires off a handful of arrows extremely fast for burst damage.

Talents

  • Pursuit Mark & Pursuer: Normal arrows reduce enemy movement speed and boost your own. Incredible synergy for kiting.
  • Battle-fed: Reduces cooldowns of all skills when you hit enemies while carrying Hunter Arrows.
  • Dodge Rapid Shot: The centerpiece of the build. Instantly shoot an arrow immediately after dodging.
  • Blood Infection: Increases Swarm Stacks from Bloodfly Arrow, setting up massive charged shot detonations.
  • Laceration: Stuns enemies who panic-dodge while afflicted by Barbed Arrow.
  • Crippling Pain: Adds a severe slow effect to your Impact Grenade.

Tips & Tricks

  1. The Trap Combo: Lay down a Spore Arrow cloud, then use Impact Grenade to blast enemies into it. Follow up with a Barbed Arrow so they die or get stunned if they try to dodge out of the poison.
  2. Jump-Dodge Tech: Dodge Rapid Shot allows instant firing after a dodge. If you dodge and immediately hit jump, you gain massive distance (feeling like a double dodge) while maintaining your offensive output.
  3. Punish Panic: Use Barbed Arrow frequently. Many players panic when hit and immediately spam the dodge key, which triggers the Laceration stun and gives you a free kill.
