Void Havoc Sorcerer

The "Void Havoc" build focuses on pushing single-target burst damage to its absolute limit. By stacking shadow energy and detonating it instantly, you can effortlessly one-shot high-HP elites and bosses. This is the top choice for sorcerers seeking massive damage numbers and lethal execution power.

1. Core Mechanics

The build revolves around "Void Marks." Every instance of Shadow damage you deal applies a Void Mark to the target. Once the target reaches 5 stacks, your next destruction spell detonates all marks, dealing colossal burst damage scaling with the target's maximum health.

2. Skill Loadout

Primary Weapon: Devourer's Dark Scythe

Active Skills

  • Skill 1: Void Bolt
    • Usage: Low-cooldown filler spell used to rapidly build Void Mark stacks.
  • Skill 2: Obliteration
    • Usage: Core finisher spell, cast when the target has 5 stacks to trigger catastrophic detonation damage.
  • Skill 3: Energy Shield
    • Usage: Converts a percentage of incoming damage into mana drain, drastically increasing survivability and room for error.

3. Best Gear & Affixes

| Slot | Recommended Item | Key Affixes | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Helmet | Whisperer's Cowl | +Shadow Damage, +Critical Strike Damage | | Chest | Voidweave Robe | +Mana Regeneration, +Shield Effectiveness | | Gloves | Touch of Extinction | +Critical Strike Chance, +Cast Speed | | Boots | Shadowstride Boots | +Cooldown Reduction, +Intelligence |

Stat Priority:

  1. Critical Strike Damage
  2. Shadow Resistance Penetration
  3. Intelligence

4. Gameplay Tactics

In boss encounters, pre-cast Energy Shield to guarantee safety. Continuously weave Void Bolt to stack marks onto the target. Keep a close eye on the stack count—as soon as it hits 5 stacks and the boss is outside of immunity or damage reduction phases, immediately unleash Obliteration. Manage your mana pool carefully, as taking hits with Energy Shield active drains significant mana.

[!TIP] Obliteration has a noticeable cast windup—always position yourself safely before initiating the cast!
