If you thrive on running circles around opponents and mind-gaming them into oblivion, the "Shadow Dancer" build is your masterclass. Rather than relying on raw burst damage, this setup leverages an ultra-high dodge cap and a nonstop stream of shadow clones to mentally and physically dismantle enemies in wars of attrition. You will fill the battlefield with phantoms, leaving opponents guessing which blade is real.

1. Core Mechanics

The cornerstone passive is [Mirage Weaver]: every successful dodge instantly spawns a Shadow Clone at your location inheriting 50% of your stats. Clones automatically attack nearby targets and draw aggro. Stacking dodge cap affixes on gear lets you easily sustain 3 to 4 active clones simultaneously, turning every duel into an unfair numbers advantage.

2. Skill Loadout

Primary Weapon: Twilight Piercers

Active Skills

  • Skill 1: Phantom Strike
    • Usage: Lunges forward with a slicing strike. If struck during the dash frames, completely negates the incoming hit and instantly spawns a shadow clone.
  • Skill 2: Shadow Swap
    • Usage: Swaps positions with your furthest active clone, granting a massive short-duration dodge boost post-swap. S-tier positioning and kiting tool.
  • Skill 3: Shadow Rift
    • Usage: Detonates all active clones across the arena in massive AoE shadow bursts, applying an accuracy debuff (blind) to all enemies caught in the blasts.

4. Gameplay Tactics

Open with Phantom Strike into non-lethal enemy hitboxes to bait an initial evade and spawn your first clone. When targeted, stand your ground—your sky-high dodge rate will proc passive clone spawns in rapid succession. If caught in crowd control or lethal boss AoE patterns, immediately cast Shadow Swap to blink to an outer clone and reset spacing. Once you have 3+ clones swarming the enemy, time Shadow Rift for a devastating finisher burst.

[!TIP] High dodge does not protect against attacks flagged with "Sure Hit / Undodgeable". Use the invulnerability frames (i-frames) on Shadow Swap to outplay true one-shot mechanics.
