In the perilous trials of Mistfall Hunter, the Aura Guardian stands as the team's most unyielding backbone. This build foregoes personal DPS, investing all stats and resources into team-wide damage reduction and armor buffs so your teammates can withstand even the most brutal boss combos.

1. Core Mechanics

The core of this build lies in stacking Aura Radius and Aura Effect Strength. Through the synergy between "Ward of Protection" and "Chant of Fortitude," your mere presence provides allies within range up to 40% flat damage mitigation. Sustained mana regeneration is also crucial, as maintaining multiple active auras demands substantial mana upkeep.

2. Skill Loadout

Primary Weapon: Dawn Defender (Mace & Shield)

Active Skills

  • Skill 1: Ward of Protection
    • Usage: Projects an aura around yourself, reducing all incoming physical and magical damage taken by nearby allies. Must maintain 100% uptime.
  • Skill 2: Chant of Fortitude
    • Usage: Burst team buff. Greatly elevates allies' stagger resistance (Super Armor / Unstoppable) and HP regeneration for a short duration—essential for face-tanking boss ultimate mechanics.
  • Skill 3: Ring of Purification
    • Usage: Cleanses all debuffs and status effects from allies in the radius while providing temporary CC immunity.

Pre-cast Chant of Fortitude right before the boss channels major room-wide AOEs. Whenever your party gets afflicted by dangerous damage-over-time procs like Bleed or Burn, pop Ring of Purification immediately.
