Crimson Meatgrinder
You are the arena's most feared rabid dog. As a Mercenary, this build completely ditches cowardly defensive play in pursuit of extreme lifesteal and suffocating melee pressure. You don't dodge attacks; the damage you dish out becomes your lifeforce. In an all-out slugfest, you will always be the last one standing.
1. Core Mechanics
The heart of this build lies in the synergistic loop between "Life Steal" and "Damage on Hit Taken." Maintaining your HP around the 50% threshold triggers your maximum Berserk damage amplification passive, while hyper-frequent auto-attacks and drain abilities keep you alive. It's a tightrope playstyle requiring nerves of steel and razor-sharp damage calculation.
2. Skill Loadout
Primary Weapon: Blood-Drinker Broadsword
Active Skills
- Skill 1: Bloodthirsty Rage
- Usage: Consumes 10% current HP upon activation to grant +30% Attack Speed and +20% Physical Lifesteal for 8 seconds. Your primary buff for trading blows.
- Skill 2: Whirlwind Slash
- Usage: Multi-hit AoE damage. Devastating in scrums and against minion clutter; its high hit-rate during Rage instantly restores massive chunks of health.
- Skill 3: Iron Will
- Usage: Essential CC-break and anti-burst tool. Cleanses all CC effects and grants 50% damage reduction for 3 seconds, allowing you to weather enemy burst windows unharmed.
3. Best Gear & Affixes
| Slot | Recommended Item | Key Affixes | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Helmet | Berserker's Helm | Damage on Hit Taken, Max HP | | Chest | Legionnaire's Chestplate | Physical Resistance, Incoming Healing Bonus | | Gloves | Slaughterer's Gauntlets | Attack Speed, Life Steal | | Boots | Trample Sabatons | Tenacity, Max Stamina |
Stat Priority:
- Life Steal
- Attack Speed
- Max Health
4. Gameplay Tactics
Against kite-heavy ranged opponents, use tight footwork to close the distance; once in melee range, immediately pop Bloodthirsty Rage and glue yourself to them with relentless light attacks. If they attempt to peel with CC, instant-cast Iron Will to break free and maintain stickiness. When enemies pop offensive cooldowns, never back down—rip into them with Whirlwind Slash backed by high lifesteal to out-trade their burst. Your health bar will look like a rollercoaster, but as long as you keep swinging, you will not drop.
[!TIP] Heavily countered by Grievous Wounds / Healing Reduction debuffs (such as Necromancer curses). When facing anti-heal setups, play for swift, decisive engages rather than drawn-out wars of attrition.
